The La Mans 24 hours race is the worlds oldest sports car race having been held annually since 1923. It is the ultimate test of driving endurance and technical efficiency.
Audi have been a dominant force at Le Mans, winning 9 times in the last 11 years and if you have ever wondered what it would be like to compete in such an event here is a glimpse of what is required. 'A Day In The Life Of An Audi Driver' sees two-time Le Mans winner Allan McNish talks about what it takes to be an Audi race car driver.
The film has been created using the latest stereoscopic 3D technology (as you would expect from Audi). The combination of dynamic hand drawn black and white illustrations and the film of Allan McNish creates a great narrative and pace to the film.
If you watched the Champions League final last night you might have seen the two and half minute advert in 2D before the kick-off during ITV’s coverage or in impressive 3D during Sky’s live coverage. The advert will also been seen in cinemas around the release of the highly anticipated final instalment of the Harry Potter films, which is also being shot in 3D.
