Ice House Detroit

The cold snap continues here on thecreativepie as our design inspiration again sees designers playing with the elements to poigiant effect. Ice House Detroit is an art installation by photographer Gregory Holm and architect Matthew Radune. They have encased a vacant Detroit house in ice, in an attempt to draw attention to the mortgage foreclosure crisis that has battered metro Detroit along with other cities across the U.S.

Nice work, definetly caught our attention.
